JESUS FOUND ME

📖 Psalm 55:22

“Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.”

🌿 Reflection –

Thanksgiving is fast approaching, and as 2025 comes to a close, many of us feel anything but peaceful.
It might be the 100 emails waiting for replies, the voicemail you’re avoiding, the dinner that’s running late again, or the kids bickering because they are exhausted from after-school activities.

Some days feel like a marathon you didn’t sign up for.

Yet Psalm 55:22 meets us right inside that chaos.
God doesn’t wait for your life to quiet down before He offers rest —
He invites you to hand Him every burden right in the middle of it.

Casting your cares isn’t a one-time event.
It’s a rhythm… a practice… sometimes an hourly surrender.

And when we release what we were never meant to carry, He sustains us —
not by removing every stress,
but by strengthening us to walk through it with peace that doesn’t make sense.

God’s peace doesn’t require perfect circumstances.
It only requires trust.

🚶‍♀️ Walking Prompt – “Strength for the Journey”

📖 1 Timothy 4:8

“For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things…”

Take your cares outside today — even if it’s just down the driveway.
Feel the air on your face.
Let your steps slow your breathing.

As you walk, remember this truth:

Physical movement strengthens the body.
Spiritual practice strengthens the soul.
Together, they prepare you for the week ahead.

With every step, say:
“Lord, I cast this burden on You.”
Name one.
Release it.
Keep walking.

This simple rhythm — step, breathe, release — can change the entire tone of your day and your week.

💬 Reflection Question

What burden have I been carrying that God is asking me to place back into His hands?

🙏 Prayer

Lord, you see the pressures I face and the weight I carry.
Teach me to cast my cares on You again and again.
Strengthen my body, steady my mind, and anchor my heart as I walk into the final days of this year.
Thank You for sustaining me in every season.
Amen.

Peace grows when we release what was never ours to hold — and walk forward with God beside us. 🌿

🌿 Reflection – “A Bowl of Peace”

Butternut squash soup has a way of slowing a day down.
It’s warm, simple, and comforting — much like the peace God offers when life feels rushed or overwhelmed.

Peace doesn’t always come loud or dramatic.
Often, it arrives quietly…
like a simmering pot,
a soft kitchen glow,
or a meal shared with someone you love.

Let this bowl remind you that God meets you in the ordinary moments —
the busy evenings, the tired afternoons, the hurried holidays —
bringing warmth where the world brings worry.

🙏 Gratitude Prayer

Lord, thank You for the simple gifts — warm meals, quiet evenings, and your steady presence in my home. Help me taste Your goodness in small things and carry Your peace into the week ahead.
Amen.
